Happy New Year and Welcome to Quarter 3!

Parents and Families,

Can you believe Quarter 3 of the 2015-16 school year is here? We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable winter break.  This quarter we have several events planned for students, staff and family.

  • Great Winter Read: The Stockton Heat wants to reward Wagner-Holt students with hockey tickets for reading books!
  • Parenting  Partners: Practical Tools for Positive Parenting begins Thursday, Jan. 21.  Childcare will be provided.
  • Tutoring Information: Jump Into Reading begins Thursday, Jan. 14 and  Jump Into Math begins Tuesday, January 26.  Both programs  meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays and end the week of March 7.
  • English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) begin for our parents whose first language is not English on Friday, Jan. 29 @ 8:45.

These 5th grade students designed the amazing artwork for Wagner-Holt's Little Free Library (LFL). The mission of the LFL is to promote the love of reading and to build a community of sharing. There are over 36,000 Little Free Library book exchanges around the world, bringing curbside literacy home and sharing 9.3 million books annually.  Wagner-Holt has the honor to steward one.
